Faridabad, 23 September (Jaspreet Kaur): Efficient layout and smooth flow of materials all across the factory ensures enhancement of efficiency and productivity of the enterprise – said Mr. J.P. Malhotra, President HSPC at the Inaugural of Half Day Workshop on Material Handling & Storage System organised by HSPC on 14th September 2016 with noted Consultant Mr. Harish Kumar Magoo as the Trainer.

Mr. Sanjay Wadhawan, Past President HSPC Sector 31, advised the participants to reduce the time loss between two stages of operation. Reduction in material movement time and activity throughout the production line is need of the hour. Mr. Wadhawan urged the participants to attend training programme like the ones organised by HSPC to keep themselves abreast of the latest technology advancement in the field of Material Movement and Storage.

Mr. D.K. Bhatia, Head HR, Sage Metals advised the participants to be attentive and spread the message of Productivity. He also requested President J.P. Malhotra to organise In-Company Training Programmes on critical and focused Topics of interest so that employees do not waste time.

Mr. Shailender of Neelkanth gave an overview of Waste Material Removal and its Movement. The Faculty Mr. Harish Kumar Magoo gave a deep insight of Issues, Problems and solutions for efficient material handling which improve Productivity.

Mr. J.P. Malhotra advised the participants to follow Japanese TPM and Lean so that all resources are used extensively and efficiently to reduce cost of material handling. Technology is and effective enabler to enhance the Productivity and Profits.

The workshop was attended by 21 participants drawn from Wings Automobiles, Addon Engineering, Pranav Vikas, NE Rubber Industries, Whirlpool, Elofic, Special Washer, Bhartiya Valves, Kartik Electronics, Sage Metals.
