फरीदाबाद,14 दिसम्बर: पुलिस आयुक्त डा० हनीफ कुरैशी ने कहा है कि पुलिस प्रशासन व आमजन के बीच परस्पर सामंजस्य के लिये कार्य किया जा रहा है और इसमें काफी सफलता भी मिली है। एफआईआर ऑनलाईन करने की सुविधा के साथ-साथ पुलिस स्टेशनों की संख्या बढ़ाई जा रही है और शिकायत पर तुरंत पुलिस कार्यवाही हो इसके लिये प्रबंध किये गये हैं। डा० हनीफ कुरैशी यहां डीएलएफ इंडस्ट्रीज एसोसिएशन व एलएमआई इंडिया द्वारा लीडिंग फॉर प्रोफिट एंड प्रफोरमैन्स विषय पर आयोजित इंट्रैक्टिव कांफ्रैन्स का आरंभ करते हुए उपस्थितजनों को संबोधित कर रहे थे।
डा० कुरैशी ने कहा कि टीम वर्क सभी जगह आवश्यक है भले वह उद्योग में हो, समाज में हो या किसी भी क्षेत्र में। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें निरंतर अपनी क्षमता में सुधार करना चाहिए और दूसरों की खुशी के लिये कार्यरत रहना चाहिए। सिटीजन विहेव्यिर विषय पर अपनी रिसर्च का हवाला देते डा० कुरैशी ने कहा कि व्यवस्था में सुधार के लिये सभी वर्गों की भागीदारी आवश्यक है।
इससे पूर्व DLF इंडस्ट्रीज एसोसिएशन के प्रधान जे.पी. मल्होत्रा ने मुख्यातिथि का स्वागत करते कहा कि सुरक्षित माहौल के लिये डा० कुरैशी द्वारा जो कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं वह निश्चित रूप से सराहनीय हैं। श्री मल्होत्रा ने कहा कि डा० हनीफ कुरैशी ने एक बेहतरीन लीडर के रूप में अपनी पहचान बनाई है और उन्होंने यह सिद्ध कर दिखाया है कि वह पुलिसकर्मियों के लिये नहीं बल्कि उद्योगों के लिये भी एक रोल मॉडल हैं।
श्री मल्होत्रा ने कहा कि डा० कुरैशी के अनुभव व उनके व्यक्तित्व का लाभ फरीदाबाद में पुलिस प्रशासन को ही नहीं मिला बल्कि इससे पूरा समाज लाभान्वित हुआ है।
एलएमआई इंडिया के डेवलपमेंट डायरेक्टर संदीप नागपाल का आभार व्यक्त करते श्री मल्होत्रा ने लीडरशिप पर इस विशेष सैशन के लिये संस्थान की सराहनाकी। उन्होंने बताया कि 58 देशों में भ्रमण कर चुके श्री नागपाल एक अच्छे मित्र, कोच, मोटीवेटर और लीडर हैं जिन्होंने प्रबंधन में उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धियां अर्जित की हैं।
इस अवसर पर डा० कुरैशी ने डीएलएफ न्यूज़ मैगजीन के विशेषांक का विमोचन भी किया। डा० कुरैशी को डीएलएफ लीडरशिप एक्सीलैंस अवार्ड 2017 से एसोसिएशन द्वारा सम्मानित भी किया गया। सदस्यों ने एफआईआर, स्पेशल पुलिस अधिकारी, पुलिस स्टेशनों की संख्या में बढ़ौतरी और 18 पुलिस सेवाओं को डिजीटल करने के लिये डा० कुरैशी की सराहना की। कीनोट स्पीकर व एलएमआई इंडिया के ईडी अशोक थुसू और संदीप नागपाल ने कई उदाहरणों सहित प्रोफिट व परफोरमैंस की विस्तारपूर्वक जानकारी उपस्थितजनों को दी।
इस अवसर पर प्रश्रोत्तरी कार्यक्रम का भी आयोजन किया गया जिसमें सदस्यों ने अपने समक्ष आने वाली समस्याओं को रखा।

Faridabad, 14 December: DLF Industries Association & LMI India organised an Interactive Conference & Session on “Leading for Profit & Performance” on 13th Dec 2017 . The Conference was inaugurated by Dr Hanif Qureshi IPS Commissioner Police Faridabad who motivated the participants to take care of their employees, work as a Team & understand behavior. He said that we should Perform to the best of our ability to see that all members of Team are engaged & happy.Quoting examples from his research on “Citizen Behavior” he gave examples of how Police in its own way are judging the performance of Police stations, critically & analytically.
Welcoming the Chief Guest, Mr J P Malhotra President DLF Industries Association. said that our chief guest is well read, highly experienced & qualified upright officer leading the force from the front to ensure that citizens & Industry of Faridabad can live in a better place – safe & secure. Appreciating the leadership of Dr Hanif Qureshi IPS, Mr. Malhotra stated he is a role model for us at industries to emulate.
Mr. JP Malhotra thanked Mr. Sandeep Nagpal Director Development LMI-India & Keynote speaker for choosing to associate with LMI Industries special DLF Industries Association for this special session on Leadership. He said that Sandeep Nagpal who has travelled to more than 58 countries in the last 18 years is a friend, coach, Motivator besides being a leader himself associated with selection of senior personnal in hundreds of companies .
On this occasion, Dr Hanif Qureshi released the Special Issue of DLF News- Magazine of DLF Industries Association.In acknowledgement & appreciation of his Innovative Leadership , Dr Hanif Qureshi IPS Commissioner was conferred “DLF Leadership Excellence Award 2017” by all the members of DLF Industries Association which was welcomed by thundrous applause. Members were pleased to know about FIR, special Police APP, Increase in number of Police stations, immediate police response to complaints, digitalisation of 18 police services as enumerated by Commissioner Police Dr Hanif Qureshi.
Mr. Ashok Thussu ED LMI introduced the keynote speaker & Sandeep Nagpal who conducted the session in 2 parts. Laced with practical case studie & Interactive in approach, followed by lively Q & A , the participation was of high order . Participants were encouraged to ask Questions related to their field & knowledge domain & Sandeep gave quick answer clarifiying doubts with reasons & quantification.
