Faridabad, 23 June: DLF Industries Association started a special Swacch Bharat Abhiyan under which the “Drainage Cleaning Activity” for DLF Industrial Area was inaugurated by Dr. Arun Kumar Panda, IAS, Secretary Ministry of MSME Govt of India on 18th June 2018 joined by Ms. Alka, IAS Jt. Secretary, Mr. Rajive Chawla & Mr. J P Malhotra in presence number of entrepreneurs of DLF.
Mr. J P Malhotra informed that the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan taken up by DLF Industries Association was supported by the initiative IamSME of India & Neelkanth Foundation besides MCF.
Hon’ble Secretary very kindly appreciated the proposed ‘Drainage Cleaning Activity’ planned by DLF Industries Association & Dr. Arun Kumar Panda advised the members present to take it forward & ensure that the drive is completed. He said that MSMEs should proactively come forward. This is National challenge and need of the hour.
Mr. J.P. Malhotra informed that Association on its own shall engage JCB for 7 days & see that all drains which can possibly be cleaned /delisted will be done. Once the Malba is dry, it will be picked by dumpers and taken to the designated places. Mr. Ashwani Madan, Mr. Sanjay Wadhawan, Mr. Shailender, Mr. T C Dhawan, Mr. Hari Om welcomed the guests who took a small round of the area & saw the present state of the drain which was choked/ clogged & filled by waste material, plastic bottles, glasses industrial waste cloth etc. Also present were Sh. PK Singh, Ms.Charu Smita, Mr. LS Chauhan, Mr. CK Mishra, Mr. SC Rohilla besides staff of adjoining companies.
