Faridabad, 16 December (Naveen Gupta): Aadhar Card for every employee and Digital Signatures for each organisation is the need of the hour for speedy and successful Digitalisation of Industrial Operations with relation to any Govt. department or service – said Mr. J.P. Malhotra, President DLF Industries Association in his inaugural remarks at the Multiple Awareness Meet organised by the Association on 6th January, 2017.

The meeting was addressed by senior officers of ESIC, Provident Fund, Sales Tax and SIDBI who advised the entrepreneurs to ensure compliance of rules and regulations, processes and procedures for simplification and smooth Business Operations.

Mr. Ashish Dixit and Ms. Anita Suresh of ESIC explained the SPREE – Scheme to Promote Registration of Employers/Employees and upward revision of coverage limit to Rs. 21,000/- w.e.f 1st January 2017.

RPFC Sh. Kumar Rohit stressed that Aadhar Card is the backbone of one and only authentic proof of Employees Identification. Biometric will lead to speeding the settlement, eliminate delays and urged the employers to expedite UAN Aadhar registration if not done so far.

Mr. Chandershekhar, AGM SIDBI presented the features of SMILE – SIDBI Make in India Loan for Enterprises. Mr. J.P. Malhotra in his intervention appreciated the raising of CGTS limit from Rupees One Crore to Rupees Two Crore recently announced by the Prime Minister.

Sh. P.S. Mor, DETC deliberated on Migration to GST regime by the enterprises. To facilitate registration under GST Act, Sh. Mor stated that his department has set up help desk to cater to the needs of the Industry. Digital Signature should be obtained by Industry, Trade and Services irrespective of the size of business and are a must for operation. President Mr. J.P. Malhotra stated that E-Mudra kiosks have been set up at convenient locations for helping in obtaining Digital Signature.

Mr. Kumar Rohit, RPFC intervened that Transparency and Process Speed are the key factors which the department is looking at. Mr. Siddharth Sharma, RPFC Compliances stated that all payment to employees must be made through Bank. Opening of Bank Account for employees is an issue which needs to aggressively addressed. Hon’ble Dy. Commissioner Sh. Chander Shekhar has advised Bankers NOT to ask for hefty account opening sums.

The presentations were followed by participative Q & A where guidance and clarification were given. Prominent among those were S/Sh. M.P. Rungta, Kuldeep Singh, J.C. Ahlawat, Bhupinder Singh, Vijay Raghavan, Manjeet Singh, Arjeet Singh Chawla, M.L. Sharma, S.K. Batra, T.C. Dhawan, Pawan Malhotra, S.C. Gupta, L.S. Chauhan, Kuldeep Bisht, T.N. Sethi, Ms. Renu Sharma, Ved Pratap Singh, K.P. Chamoli, Girish Kumar Sharma and others. The interaction with Ms. Anita Suresh and Mr. Ashish Dixit of ESIC, S/Sh. Kumar Rohit , Siddharth Sharma, Nadeem Ahmed, Sushant Khandwal, Sukhbir Singh of Provident Fund, S/Sh. P.S. Mor and Mukesh Malhotra of Sales Tax and Sh. Chandershekhar of SIDBI gave concise and clear, straight and simple answers to the problems of enterprises.

According to Mr. J.P. Malhotra and Mr. Vijay Raghavan this was an innovative step by DLF Industries Association to bring all the departments together for the Multiple Awareness Meet and which was advantageous in smooth and hassle free enterprise operations.
