Faridabad, 1 July (Naveen Gupta): An extensive Tree Plantation was carried out by DLF Industries Association and Rotary Club of Faridabad Mid-Town at the MCF Park near Police Chowki being developed and maintained by DLF Industries Association. Saplings were planted by the honoured guests S/Sh. Amardeep Jain, Jt. Comm. Old MCF, Anil Choudhary, Jt. Director DIC, S.K. Puniya, XEN Horticulture MCF, Rtn. Vinay Bhatia, District Governor, Rotary International District 3011, Rtn. Satish Gossain, Chief Patron and Rtn. Sudhir K. Jaini, President, Rotary Club of Faridabad Mid-Town. They were joined by DLF Members and Rotarians of the Club. More than 110 Trees were planted that included Neem, Jamun, Peepal, Gulmohar etc.

Joint Commissioner Old MCF appreciated the Tree Plantation and development of MCF Park undertaken by DLF Industries Association under the dynamic leadership of President Sh. J.P. Malhotra and promised all possible assistance and help in solving various problems like encroachments, water for DLF Industrial Area Phase-I, Phase-II & New DLF Area. Welcoming the guests, Sh. M.P. Rungta, Advisor DLF Industries Association thanked Hon’ble Jt. Comm. Old MCF for his keen interest and cooperation in resolving the various problems and acknowledged the presence and support of other guests at the Tree Plantation.                 Mr. J.P. Malhotra said that MCF is our partner in development of this Park and greening/cleaning in our Industrial Area.

Fabricated Tree Guards have been sponsored by members of DLF Industries Association and Rotary Club of Faridabad Mid-Town to ensure protection and growth of the Trees. Red cement benches have been placed in the DLF-MCF Park for convenience of visitors and Residents of nearby colonies to the Park. Fibre Fabricated Toilet is also being organised for the Park which has been supported by Cosmos Fibre Glass Ltd., a premier company of DLF Industries Association working for ‘Swacch Bharat’. Today’s Project Cost of Rs. 1,35,000/- was supported by Rotary and DLF Industries Association

Sh. Anil Choudhary, Jt. Director DIC planted a sapling and applauded the community service initiative of the Association and Rotary Club. Rtn. Vinay Bhatia, Distt Governor (18-19) Rotary International also planted a Tree and encouraged the Rotarians to come forward in a big way to improve environment. Ms. Meena Sirohi, Branch Manager Bhartiya Mahila Bank praised the good work of the Association and promised all help. Sh. H.S. Malik, Chirman Distt. Child Welfare Committee suggested the MCF make ‘Canopies’ at all the four corners of the Park to enable Residents to enjoy the greening being done by the Association.

The Greening DLF Programme was witnessed by S/Sh. M.P. Rungta, Vijay Raghavan,    T.C. Dhawan, S.K. Batra, K.K. Nangia, Kuldeep Singh, H.S. Malik, Sandeep Gupta, Prem Singhania, Bhupender Singh, Rtn. Amarjeet Lamba, Rtn. Roshan Gulati, Rtn. Jatinder Singh Chhabra, Rtn. Satinder Singh, Rtn. Anil Behl, Rtn. Manohar Puniani, Rtn. Roopam, Rtn. Rajesh Kumar, R’Anne Sanjeeva Kumar, R’Anne Nupur Jaini and officers of MCF besides employees of many companies. Role of Neelkanth Foundation was also appreciated in ‘Green DLF’ programme and regular removal of Municipal Waste by Door-to-Door Pick Up. Everyone pledged to plant and adopt one Tree for the future of Industrial Fraternity.
