Faridabad, 21 July: TAP-DC–Technology & Personality Development Centre today conducted a very successful One Day Training on Basic First Aid & CPR. Ms. Charu Smita Malhotra CEO welcomed the participants & Faculty from Red Cross, Mrs. Meenu Kaushal & Sh. Ratan Singh Azad, explained the usefulness of First Aid & the intrinsic advantage to the organisation savings in terms of loss of man hours efforts besides cost & delivery of the Product.
Mr. J.P. Malhotra President DLF Industries Association & Chairman TAP-DC advised the participants to follow the Maxim “Each One Teach One” to create multiplier effect of such Training. Mr. Malhotra also presented Red Cross Manual to everyone with the advice to read it & put it at a place near First Aid Box in the company.
Mrs. Meenu Kaushal & Sh. Ratan Singh of Red Cross conducted the Full Day Training & explained in details various aspects of First Aid & what skills the participants need to learn to be able to take the victim of accident/mishap to the nearby Doctor/Hospital. First Aid protocol and procedures in case of Fractures, Bleeding & Cuts, Choking Burns Cardiac Arrest, Animal Bites were demonstrated & practically explained with the help of videos/demonstrations and role play for effective learnings.
Dr. Navin Garg Chief Cardiologist B.K. Hospital & Dr. Major Harsh Vij took a special session on CPR and told method of Rustication, Breath revival in case of victim of heart attack in the initial Golden Hour. Practical demonstration was done with the help of mannequins/model of human body. Nearly all participants actively practiced CPR and familiarised themselves with practical practice.
TAP-DC gave a small First Aid Kit of John Ambulance to all the participants who were drawn from Securico Electronics India Ltd., Bee K Bee Prints Pvt. Ltd., Sai Packaging, Kohli Printers, ATM Exports Pvt. Ltd., Bhartiya Valves Pvt. Ltd., Gautam Engineers, Richa Processing, Competent Processors, Lindstrom Services India P. Ltd., Advance Forging P. Ltd., Brite Forge Pvt. Ltd. Good well Industries, Ronald besides representatives of DLF Industries.
