Faridabad, 3 March (Metro Plus) : DLF Industries Association expresses its gratitude and thanks to Hon’ble Industry Minister Haryana Sh. Vipul Goel for initiating infrastructure improvements in Faridabad especially DLF Industrial Area Phase-I, Phase-II and New DLF. Out of total of Rs. 130 Crore proposed for Faridabad, DLF Industrial Area share is estimated at Rs. 25 Crores. Sh. J.P. Malhotra informed that during the preliminary survey conducted by a private Agency, we have pin pointed the upgradation and improvements required in our Area. The thrust is on construction of balance RMC roads, Interlocking Tiles 6ft. wide on both sides of the road all over the area, repair and covering of storm water drains, shifting of power electric poles from the vicinity of road so that effective width of road is increased, removal of encroachments, augment of water supply and street lights. There is a proposal to meet the long pending demand of our area to improve connectivity between Phase I and Phase II by a Two lane road bridge over Budhiya Nala. This would ease movement of men and cargo from Phase I to Phase II and vice versa and the industry people will not have to go to Mathura Road. This would reduce the density of traffic at Mathura Road from DLF.

According to Mr. J.P. Malhotra, the Hon’ble Industry Minister has taken the first step in keeping up his assurance to improve the infrastructure of Faridabad and make provisions for funds from Industry Deptt. The work is supposed to be supervised by HSIIDC and Association will be engaged in the execution of works. Sh. Vipul Goel announced that Tendering Process will start immediately. It is estimated that DLF would become a world class Industrial Area in next 2 years. Mr. J.P. Malhotra, President DLF Industries Association also requested entrepreneurs of the area to remove encroachments on the roadsides by way of cycle stands, equipment and temporary road blocks and discourage mushrooming of Dhabas/Kiosks/Puncture Shops etc.
