Fire and Safety is a key responsibility of HR / Security Team in any organization and if ignored can cause havoc and irreparable loss, said Mr. J.P. Malhotra, President, HSPC, in his address at the Inauguration of Half Day Fire & Safety Management Training Programme organized by HSPC.

Outlining the objectives, Mr. Malhotra stated that all the participants must acquire and understand the Fire prevention methods and organizing safety measures to avoid accidents which many times are fatal resulting in loss of human life and property. This causes stoppage of production, delay in order execution and this disrupts the supply chain.

Addressing the 35 participants representing 15 Industries, Mr. J.P. Malhotra advised them to train at least one of their colleagues back
home in their company so that the programme has a multiplier effect because every employee may not get a chance to attend such a focussed seminar of Industrial importance.

Mr. S.K. Tyagi, the learned faculty with more than 30 years of practical experience explained the details of Fire and Safety Management and answered all questions of participants.
